After several difficult years, the board members of the IPS are in the process of improving the Society to better meet the needs of members. We are very happy to have recently launched the IPS website (www.phytoliths.org) with much more content that will provide dramatically better value while serving as the active hub of the IPS community. We encourage you to participate in making this new website vibrant by contributing phytolith-related news from your region and sending us a brief summary of research you are currently working on or recently completed. I am also attaching a spreadsheet for you to record your phytolith sampling sites to include on the map of phytolith sites on the website.
